In 2024, the school recruits students nationwide and internationally according to 6 admission methods, including:
(1) Direct admission and priority admission according to the current Admission Regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training (method code 301).
(2) Direct admission and priority admission according to specific regulations and admission guidelines of Hanoi National University (method code 303).
Accordingly, high school students nationwide with good conduct in 3 years of high school and good academic performance will be considered for direct admission and priority admission in the year of high school graduation to appropriate majors when meets one of the following criteria:
– Won first, second, and third prizes in high school Olympic exams of Hanoi National University (winning subjects are considered for admission to majors/training programs specified in the Appendix of the recruitment project). born);
– Won first, second, and third prizes in the excellent student exam at the provincial/central city level and the overall average score of the 3 years of high school was 8.5 or higher (rounded to the nearest 2 decimal places) (winning subjects are considered for admission to majors/training programs specified in the Appendix of the admission project);
– Be a member of the monthly contest of the program “Road to Olympia” organized by Vietnam Television every year and have an overall high school average score of 8.5 or higher.
Candidates who win prizes during their years of study at the high school level have their results reserved when registering for admission to university at Hanoi National University.

(3) Admission with valid competency assessment test results (HSA) of Hanoi National University (method code 401).
The school admits candidates whose results of the competency assessment test (HSA) organized by Hanoi National University reach a minimum of 80/150 points or higher.
(4) Admission for international certificates (A-Level, SAT, ACT) (method code 408). Specifically:
Candidates with international certificates from Cambridge University Testing Center, UK (Cambridge International Examinations A-Level, UK, referred to as A-Level certificate for short): Candidates using A-Level certificates have results of 3 Exam subjects in which Math or Literature are required according to the prescribed combinations of the respective training major, ensuring a score of 60/100 points or more for each subject (corresponding to grade C, PUM range ≥ 60) .
Candidates whose results on the standardized test SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test, USA) score 1100/1600 or higher. The registration code of Hanoi National University with the SAT testing organization (The College Board) is 7853 – Vietnam National University – Hanoi (candidates need to declare the above registration code when registering for the SAT).
Candidates with results on the ACT (American College Testing) standardized test scored from 22/36.
(5) Admission for international foreign language certificates (IELTS Academic, TOEFL iBT, HSK and HSKK, JLPT, TOPIK II) combined with high school graduation exam results (mode code 409).
Candidates have an IELTS Academic English certificate of 5.5 or higher or equivalent international English certificates or other international foreign language certificates (as specified in Appendix 3) and have a total score of the remaining 2 test subjects. in the admission combination of the major/training program, achieve at least 14 points in the 2024 high school graduation exam (in which Math or Literature is required).
(6) Admission of high school graduation exam results in 2024 (method code 100).
Candidates whose results of the 2024 high school graduation exam according to each admission combination meet the entrance quality assurance threshold prescribed by Hanoi National University and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
